Beautiful Girl of the Week is a series of Beautiful Girls who are stand outs for what they contribute to the world through their beautiful actions!  We feature the Beautiful Girl of the Week on the Rewrite Beautiful blog as an attempt to inspire other girls and women to use their own gifts and talents to impact their communities. Our hope is that bringing positive attention to women’s actions will inspire them to embrace their own creative calling!

Jacquelyn is Beautiful!

I know Jacquelyn from my networking in the eating disorder recovery field. We feature her sweet website, Eating Disorder Hope as one of Rewrite Beautiful’s resources for help. If you’re in need of help or simply interested in the eating disorder recovery field you should check it out. Jacquelyn is a leader in eating disorder advocacy. Check out our interview below!

Irvina: Well hello darling! Can you tell me about a project you’re currently working on?

Jacquelyn: My favorite project is developing the Eating Disorder Hope website as a helpful source of information, resources and treatment options for those suffering from anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and related conditions.

Irvina: That’s a huge job! Thank you for all the work you do! So tell me, what are you passionate about?

Jacquelyn: God, helping others, family, dogs, art, classical music, reggae music, painting, coffee and Cabernet :)

Irvina: Dude! I love ALL of those things! Except don’t try to walk your dog while drinking Cabernet! Trust me! So, which action of CREATIVITY, KINDNESS and STRENGTH do you think you most exhibit in your community and WHY?

Jacquelyn: Creativity- I feel "in the zone" when helping others by using a combination of brainstorming, refining and implementation to make the world a better place and create win-win situations.

Irvina: I totally agree! See this is why were friends! Tell me, who is the most beautiful woman you know and why?

Jacquelyn: My Italian grandmother, Nona. She is beautiful because she selflessly gave to others , loved unconditionally, nurtured every soul she came in contact with and loved God with all her heart and soul.
